I am in the backseat of my parents car on the way out to Morongo Casino in Palm Springs, to try out for Wheel of Fortune. I feel like a youngin' again being in the backseat. Watching everything zooming by my window and watching people driving their cars.
When I was little I used to wave at the semi-truck drivers bc one time I said "mom, that truck driver just waved at me". And she told me to wave back bc I remind them of their daughters back at home. I was like 3-8 yrs old. I was always a little unsure, but thought "hey, I'm with my mom and I'm safe". But thinking back on that today it gives me unease in my stomach. All I can think about is the 20/20 special I saw 10 yrs ago about truck stop prostitutes. Yuck. Hopefully, I only waved to the truck drivers that had high fedelity. =/
