Dear Blogger,
I shall return with plogs about the matches farewell show, the sea no evil art show with shepard fairey, fun nights and everything; once I am off of these crazy meds I am on for this nasty bronchitis that I am battling. (That was one looong sentence and one shoooorrtt blog.) :)

Kalimotxo...mmmm bomb.

Calimocho (from the Basque Kalimotxo) is a drink consisting of approximately 50% red wine and 50% cola-based soft drink. Alternative names include Rioja libre (from "Rioja", and "Cuba Libre"), kali, motxo. In Chile the drink is known as jote (Chilean Spanish for the Black Vulture), and in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, the Republic of Macedonia, Croatia and other former Yugoslav republics of it is known as bambus (meaning bamboo) and musolini (as in Mussolini). In the Czech Republic it is known as houba, and in Hungary as Vadász (meaning hunter) or vörösboros kóla or shortly VBK. In Mozambique and South Africa it is known as Catemba.
Ingredients
1 litre cola
1 (750 ml) bottle red wine
Preparation method
In a carafe or pitcher with a lid, combine the cola and red wine. Put the lid on and gently rock the container to mix. Let rest for a few minutes before serving in glasses over ice. (My note: served bone cold and w/o ice is much better).

Sandals Church Building Update!!

Sandals has a new buiding!! Off Palmiryta (sp*)! Rt by UCR off of the 215! Off-ramp: Columbia Ave. I am so excited! Prayers answered and 8 months left in the CBU gym! :)
Praise God! Idk why I even posted this, I guess it's like a sugar-rush....all stoked up and now I am coming down....

The Hush Sound

My latest obsession is sleep. I am always ready to try to turn off my mind and sleep. Now if you know me, you know I have a severe case of insomnia. I hate having to take medicine to go to sleep, shouldn't sleep come easily to every human being? I think that would be nice. <3
The Hush Sound has a song called, "You Are The Moon". It is from their "Like Vines" record, and it has been my lullaby as of late. I love it.

Now I must say, I like these lyrics a lot! I am not a Prince fan, therefore I heard this song for the first time by Incubus, but I really think that there are some lines to live by up there!


On Monday, Matt and I are going to see Funny People, I hear mixed reviews about it. I will let ya know how I feel about it Monday night.

Tuesday, Matt is taking me to Venice Beach and then dinner on the Santa Monica Pier! I am so stoked! Should be awesome fun.

Wednesday Cynthia is driving Brittnizz, and myself out to Hollywood (The Mint more specifically) for the 100 Monkeys show. The lead singer is Jackson Rathbone, who is Jasper Hale (newly vegged-vampire) in the Twilight movies. I am super excited for some fun! And Brittnizz is super excited to see her love in person! lol



Ps, do you know what is awesome about 9pm on Saturdays??? PostSecrets blog gets updated with the following Sunday's Secrets! I absolutely love PostSecret and I just know you guys would too. A lot of the time it's just lets you know you're not alone in how you feel or act. Bonus, they are TWLOHA supporters!

Here is a pic with some happy lil ducks walking around Disneyland last week. I didn't get that great of a picture...but it's better than nothing!
They were all walking to there "sleeping quarters", which is the Storybook Ride's miniature houses and lawns. Whenever you go on the ride and the ducks are there sleeping the guide will most likey call them the "giant man-eating ducks!" bc it is ridiculous to try to pretend they are not there...sleeping on Tinkerbell's house. haha
